At Jump Start Pediatric Therapy, our values guide every aspect of our work. We’re committed to providing therapy that’s tailored to each child, empowering families, and creating compassionate, collaborative relationships. We believe that by working together, we can help your child reach their full potential, one step at a time.
We prioritize each child’s unique strengths, needs, and personality in everything we do.
We believe caregivers are key to success—so we listen, support, and partner with them every step of the way.
We build trust through empathy, play, and positive relationships that help kids feel safe and seen.
We work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistent, meaningful progress.
After teaching for over a year I realized that many children face barriers in their learning due to underdeveloped skills or mental health challenges. This encouraged me to complete my Masters in Occupational Therapy. I had the pleasure of working with kids in both the school and home setting for over 10 years. I have helped children develop the appropriate skills they needed to succeed in their environment and overcome challenges (physical and mental health). As a mother, I also know the challenges that caregivers can face when their child is discouraged by day-to-day tasks, and how this can impede the child’s behavior. As an occupational therapist I am equipped with the skills and knowledge to assess a child’s needs in any environment and come up with a feasible plan with the caregivers and the child that will lead to the child’s success.
At Jump Start Pediatric Therapy, we provide expert evaluations and personalized treatment to help children grow, thrive, and overcome everyday challenges—with care that’s tailored to your family’s needs.
We support children's mental wellness through play-based and evidence-informed psychotherapy, helping them build coping skills, resilience, and emotional understanding.
Through structured activities and personalized strategies, we help children improve attention, stay on task, and develop the focus they need for school and daily routines.
We guide children in understanding and managing their big feelings, while giving caregivers tools to support positive behaviors at home and in the community.
We help children better respond to sensory input—like sounds, textures, or movement—so they can feel more comfortable, calm, and in control of their bodies.
From pencil grasp to letter formation, we work on the building blocks of handwriting to help kids write clearly, confidently, and with less frustration.
We support children in developing daily living skills—like eating, dressing, and sleeping—so they can become more independent and families can feel less stress.
We strengthen the small and large muscle movements that kids need for things like buttoning a shirt, riding a bike, or climbing on the playground.
We support children in developing clear speech, stronger language, and confident communication—so they can share their ideas, needs, and feelings with the world.
